1. Sponsor
The sponsor of each contest is TNAADO Labs, Inc., [COMPANY_ADDRESS] ("Sponsor"). Mr Syn is the platform on which the contest runs.
2. Contest Period
Each contest has its own Entry Period and Performance Period, listed on the contest detail screen. All times are displayed in the entrant's local time zone but the Sponsor's clock is definitive.
3. Eligibility
- Open only to legal residents of the fifty US states and the District of Columbia, and Canadian residents outside of Quebec, who are at least 18 years old at entry (19 in AL, NE and most Canadian provinces; 21 in MS), and who live in a jurisdiction on our current eligible list.
- Excluded jurisdictions are listed on the Eligibility page, identified here by reference as [EXCLUDED_JURISDICTIONS].
- Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Sponsor, its affiliates, and anyone involved in the administration of a contest are not eligible.
4. How to Enter (Paid)
In the Mr Syn app, open a contest, review the task, entry fee, and rules, and tap "Enter." Your payment method or account balance will be charged the entry fee, which is held in escrow until the contest resolves.
5. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE, Free)
To enter without payment, mail a legible, hand-printed 3” x 5” card containing your full legal name, date of birth, current residential address, phone number, email associated with your Mr Syn account, and the contest ID you wish to enter, to:
TNAADO Labs, Inc. — Mr Syn Skill Contest AMOE
[COMPANY_ADDRESS]
Mail-in entries must be received no later than 48 hours before the contest's Performance Period starts. One AMOE entry per person per contest. Mail-in entrants compete under the same task and judging rules. No prize pool share is taken from AMOE entrants; their prize is funded by a guaranteed reserve of at least the per-entrant share of the Winners' pool.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or damaged mail. Mechanically-reproduced entries are void.
6. The Task
The task is the physical activity you must complete within the Performance Period. It is described on the contest detail screen and may include distance, pace, frequency, duration, weight change, streak, or check-in requirements. The task is determined by the entrant's own skill, training, and effort. No element of chance determines the outcome.
7. Judging Criteria
Completion is judged using objective, measurable data including:
- GPS route data captured on the entrant's device.
- Pedometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope signals.
- Timestamped, on-device photo or video check-ins.
- HealthKit or Google Fit data the entrant authorizes.
- AI and human review against the posted criteria.
Sponsor's determination of completion is final and binding, subject to the dispute process in Section 14.
8. Tie-Breakers
Where a contest ranks Winners (for example, by fastest time) and two or more entrants are tied:
- The entrant who completed the task first (earliest timestamp) wins the higher rank.
- If still tied, the entrant with the more complete sensor data (GPS density, sample rate) wins.
- If still tied, the entry with the earliest Entry Period registration wins.
- If still tied, the Sponsor conducts a skill-based tie-breaker task with 24 hours' notice to the tied entrants.
9. Prizes
Each contest displays the prize structure, funded from entry fees minus a 15% platform service fee (taken only from forfeited-stake share, per the Terms of Service). Prizes are paid through Stripe Connect Express to the Winner's verified bank account, in US or Canadian dollars as applicable.
Total value of prizes is determined by entries and cannot exceed the cap published on the contest detail screen. Where applicable law requires a maximum total prize value, that cap applies.
10. Odds and Caps
Your odds of winning depend on your own completion of the task and the number of entrants who complete it. Historical completion rates, when available, are shown on the contest detail screen for context only.
11. Winner Notification
Winners are notified within 7 days of the Performance Period ending, via in-app message and the email on their account. Winners must pass identity and age verification before payout. Failure to respond to a verification request within 10 days may result in disqualification.
12. Publicity
Except where prohibited, by entering a contest you consent to Sponsor using your display name, city and province/state, and the anonymized statistics of your performance for promotional purposes, without further compensation. You do not grant permission to use your legal name, photo, or likeness without a separate written consent.
13. Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify an entrant for cheating, GPS spoofing, fake photo submissions, multi-accounting, collusion, harassment, providing false information, or violating the Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service. Disqualified entries are forfeited and not refundable.
14. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a result is wrong, open a dispute in the app within 48 hours of the result posting. We will investigate and respond within 7 business days. Otherwise, any dispute is subject to the arbitration clause in Section 15 of the Terms of Service.
15. Void Where Prohibited
Paid entry and prize awards are void where prohibited by law. Entrants are responsible for complying with all local, state, provincial, and federal laws. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a contest if fraud, technical failure, regulatory action, or any other factor impairs its integrity.
16. Winners List
A list of Winners (display name, city, province/state, and prize amount) for any contest that closed in the prior 90 days is available by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Winners list" and the contest ID.
